If a book that you need is checked out, you have three options.

  1. Hold: Put the book on hold and wait for it to be returned. When it is, the library will contact you.

  2. Request: Request that the book be returned. Whoever has it checked out will be asked to return it in 7 days (unless they’ve had it less than two weeks). The library will contact you when the book is returned.

  3. Interlibrary Loan: Request the book through Interlibrary Loan. The library will ask other libraries if they have it and if they do, we’ll request it.

If you choose the Hold/Request button you will be taken to the screen below where you can choose the type of request you would like to make. For the Request option, choose Recall
