Q. How can I find out what the letter codes before a course number mean (course prefix)?

Each class in the Boise State University catalogs begins with a course prefix which describes the department offering the course. 

Course prefix codes for undergraduate courses are listed in the Undergraduate Course Catalog. 

Course prefix codes for graduate courses are in the Graduate Catalog.
