STEM-themed backpacks can be checked out for in-library use by children accompanying their parents who come to work and study at Albertsons Library. And now backpacks can be checked out and taken out of the library for up to 24 hours!
Each backpack contains STEM-based toys/activities, such as LEGO bricks, MagnaTiles, puzzles, blocks and SnapCircuits, as well as STEM-themed books that appeal to a range of ages, from baby-age 12.
By providing backpacks with age-appropriate STEM activities and STEM-themed books for the children of Boise State students, Albertsons Library is taking an innovative approach to serve parenting students and their children by creating a family-friendly environment, while also fostering STEM education and making a positive, multi-generational impact.
Backpacks are available for checkout at the Circulation desk.
