The Library provides a Family Study Room for students and Boise State employees who want their children to play in an engaging environment while they study or work with a group. The Family Study Room contains books, toys, and other engaging materials for children, and two computers (one Windows and one Mac) and an adult study table. The Family Study Room can be reserved prior to coming to the Library or upon arrival if it is available.

In addition to the Family Study Room, parents can check out an age-appropriate "Kids of Idaho love to learn! Activity Pack" at the ASK Desk on the first floor of the Library.

The Curriculum Collection on the third floor includes additional children's books, Idaho textbooks, and some games.

The Nursing Mother's Room is located on the fourth floor of the Library. Stop at the ASK Desk on the first floor to check out the key to this room.
